Specific age requirements are listed for each class. If you're not sure whether a program is right for your child, contact us and we'll help you figure it out.
No. All of our programs welcome beginners. We teach from the basics — threading a needle, operating a machine, understanding fabric — and build from there. Students who already have experience work on more advanced projects at their own pace.
No. We have sewing machines available for all students. If your child has their own machine and wants to bring it, they're welcome to — it's a great way to learn on the equipment they'll use at home. But it's not required.
Summer Camp: Packed lunch, water bottle, comfortable clothes (they will get messy), closed-toe shoes (required), and optionally a sketchbook and their own sewing machine.
Classes & Workshops: Just show up. All materials are provided. Wear something you don't mind getting fabric dust or dye on.
We maintain a 6:1 student-to-teacher ratio across all of our programs. This means every student gets real, individualized attention — not just a demo from across the room.
Summer Camp: Drop-off is at 9:00am, pickup is at 3:00pm at the studio (1733 N New Hampshire Ave). A parent or authorized guardian must sign the student in and out.
Afterschool Program: Drop-off at 3:30pm, pickup at 5:30pm. Same sign-in/sign-out policy.
We do not provide transportation. Street parking is available on New Hampshire Ave and surrounding streets.
Please see our Policies page for full details on cancellations, refunds, and transfers. In general, we offer full refunds for cancellations made 14+ days before the start date, and partial refunds for cancellations made 7–13 days before.
